Redesigning Websites.

For this week's blog, I'll be covering quite a bit on the redesign process that we've been learning in class. For our assignment, we need to find and redesign a website via creating a new wireframe, then creating a brand new 2.0.

Subsequently, the best way to look for bad websites is to go to what is hailed as the worst web design of 2014. The top ten list of which took me to here.

Is it cringe worthy? I'd say so.

At any rate, I am hoping to at least make the site make sense. With a navbar that flows as well as a featured area that gives people an idea of what's going on.

As you can see, I've slightly reworked the page so that it doesn't have the repeating background images. streamlined the navbar, created a body / content and a footer area. The main thing is to create a feed on the right bar, while allowing for some kinda news update on the left / welcome page. Right now Headhunter has nothing on their home page, so the bounce rates are probably ridiculously high.

At any rate, that's all for this week.

Stay Classy.
